-=[New Cintiq on its way]=-

I finally gave in.
Even though it meant that I wouldn't be able to buy my desperately needed 10.5 iMac for awhile, I finally put my foot down and ordered a 12"Cintiq.
For those not familiar with the name, a Cintiq is just like a normal tablet, but this time, you draw directly on the screen![pic of Cintiq]

I was first introduced to it by a friend would occasionally bring his Cintiq into class and let me doodle. Then, after seeing and testing the newer model at GDC/2008, I knew I wanted one when I had the money.

My mom was a bit iffy about it at first due to the price. (I don't blame her though; she, my pops, and I are having a hard time with the economy the way it is)
My school tuition is priority over everything, and she thought this was just another computer attachment that I really didn't need.
So I had to convince her by showing her some Cintiq vids and explaining how much faster I would get my homework done by using it (not to mention the quality I could get out of it). She approved, I cried tears of joy. TTATT

But right now, I'm just really excited that I'll be getting one~!
It'll motivate me to do more work.
